Hola Book Lovers! I'm Layla, a literary muse with over 15 years of experience empowering women writers, and I'm bringing together a small group of women readers and writers for the 2026 San Miguel Writers' Conference & Literary Festival (February 10–16, 2026). Conferences can be overwhelming when you go alone. So, if you're planning to attend, LET'S ATTEND TOGETHER—experiencing keynotes and workshops with literary masters like Chimamanda Ngozi Adichie and Sandra Cisneros, gathering at our daily Writers' Table, exploring a UNESCO World Heritage city, and building the kind of literary friendships that last beyond the trip.
We'll gather at CasaELM, an upscale Black- and woman-owned boutique guesthouse, for meals and connection. Some things are better in sisterhood! A week at one of the world's great literary festivals—with connection and community you'll remember long after we return home—is one of them.
