About the event
Peace Not Pieces is a ceremonial women’s art therapy retreat held in the heart of San Miguel de Allende—created for remembrance, healing, and becoming whole.
I founded this retreat in 2022 after standing before an empty picture frame—an image that called me to reframe my life, my motherhood, and myself as a woman. Through art, I learned to gather what was scattered and honor the strength carried through my ancestors and bloodline. This retreat is an offering of that medicine to other women.
Your journey will be held by master art-therapy practitioners Kate Van Doren, founder of The Healing Words Project, and Gabriela O. Farjardo, founder of Casa Corazón—both known for work that supports women with presence, integrity, and compassion.
Our journey opens with a sacred Temezcal ceremony, led by an experienced female plant-medicine healer -- Elisa, another experienced healer-- grounding us in authentic Mexican tradition and setting the intention…
